Burnham Ferry runs between Burnham Town Quay (opposite the Anchor Pub) & Wallasea Island. However Burnham Yacht Harbour have kindly given permission for BYH berth holders & visiting yachtsmen using the Yacht Harbour to be collected & returned to the Marina.

The Ferry allows foot passengers and cyclists alike to cross the River Crouch for lovely river side walks or cycling across the marshes. Birdwatchers , nature lovers , walkers and cyclists will be drawn to the RSPB Wallasea Wetland Project, the largest nature reserve of its type in Europe.

The Ferry connects with the Crouch Village Link No 174 Bus two days a week. Please refer to their website www.crouchvillagelinkNo174 also see www.burnhamferry.co.uk for an up to date timetable.

We are offering our annual customers a 3 pence per litre discount on all fuel that has been purchased from us during this berthing year from 1st April 2012 . Just keep all of your fuel receipts and in February 2013 we will raise a credit against next years annual berthing contract or berth service charge only. Motorboat owners please note that this is potentially a 6 pence per litre saving when you purchase over 450 litres per fill up , arguably the cheapest fuel on the east/south coast

Dredging 2012 – 2013 season

This season we are dredging rows B – C & F – G We hope to start our dredging on the 20 December 2012.

We are currently removing fingers on B - C pontoons and all customers should have been notified if their vessel needed to be moved.

We will be contacting customers in row F – G in the new year with their temporary berth numbers.
